Day to day, you guide the front-of-house team through rosters, training and development, keep service and presentation polished, and handle guest feedback. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee each day's running of high teas, weddings, company functions and private celebrations
- Build a strong front-of-house team by planning rosters, coaching staff and growing their skills
- Keep in step with the General Manager, the events coordinators and the kitchen so events flow well
- Protect the venue's service quality and appearance, follow up on guest comments, lift revenue, watch costs and keep WHS and RSA compliance in order
Requirements & Eligibility
- A proven background in premium hospitality as a Restaurant, Venue or Events Manager
- A warm and welcoming nature, comfortable dealing with guests and the team alike
- Confident leadership with a hands-on style and complete ownership of operations
- Excellent English in conversation and in writing
- Very strong organisation, with a sharp eye for detail
- Free to work nights and weekends, every weekend included
- Also free to work public holidays and peak event periods
