Good with a wok and comfortable in a packed kitchen? A Vietnamese restaurant group in regional New South Wales is expanding and is looking for 3 experienced cooks and chefs to start immediately.
It wants keen, dependable people who put in the effort and stay efficient when orders keep coming. A useful next step is to check that your experience covers Asian dishes cooked at volume.
Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) holders are welcome to apply. Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482) sponsorship may be considered for suitable and eligible long-term candidates, depending on the business's needs, your eligibility, your work performance and immigration requirements; it is not automatic.
Applicants must be already in Australia and willing to work at the restaurant allocated to them, and initial training in Port Macquarie may come first.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook Vietnamese and other Asian-style dishes the way the restaurant sets them
- Plate every dish with consistent quality and correct portions
- Prepare ingredients and rotate stock
- Keep the kitchen clean and stick to food safety and hygiene procedures
- Keep moving efficiently through busy lunch and dinner services, cooperating with the kitchen and front of house
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial Cookery qualifications or relevant experience from a professional kitchen
- Experience in Asian cuisine kitchens is highly preferred; Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese or other Asian restaurants are a strong match
- If you have prepared noodle soups, stir-fries, rice dishes and other Asian meals, that is an advantage
- Comfortable working independently and handling a busy service
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to high kitchen standards
- Flexible availability, including weekend shifts
- Must be currently located in Australia
- Willing to work at whichever restaurant is allocated
