Container devanning in Auckland is a job with rules, and the person doing it needs to know them. This Warehouse Person role is for someone who holds a current AP/MPI certification and wants a long-term role that mixes unloading with compliance paperwork.
You would oversee devanning, make sure MPI procedures are followed and stay involved in the physical work. Relevant overseas candidates may be considered for sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee container devanning and unloading each day
- Follow MPI requirements and procedures correctly and keep unloading compliant
- Complete MPI documentation, inspection records and other paperwork
- Help unload, handle and move goods
- Monitor container processing so operational deadlines are met
- Report compliance, safety or operational concerns
- Work with other warehouse and container handling staff
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times, and keep accurate records
- Help create an efficient, organised and productive workplace and cover other warehouse duties when needed
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold a current and valid AP/MPI Certification
- Previous warehouse, container handling or devanning experience
- Practical knowledge of MPI requirements and procedures
- Physically fit and capable of regular manual lifting
- Comfortable in a hands-on operational environment
- Reliable, with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Works efficiently in a team
- Strong understanding of workplace timeframes and deadlines
- Follows instructions and compliance procedures accurately
- Committed to strict health and safety standards and available for early morning starts and full working days
