Civil transport work in Christchurch, New Zealand, needs experienced Class 5 Truck Drivers. The job suits drivers who are confident with truck and trailer or articulated units, carting aggregate and machinery and working safely around active civil sites.
Sponsorship is available for eligible and suitably experienced candidates, so Malaysian heavy vehicle drivers with verifiable experience can take a look. You will also lend a hand with practical site tasks alongside civil crews.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Class 5 trucks for civil and infrastructure projects
- Haul aggregate and chip seal from quarries to work sites and back
- Carry heavy machinery and equipment
- Handle truck and trailer or articulated combinations, as well as road ranger and automatic units
- Tip, spread and jack-knife, and load or self-load materials using suitable equipment
- Run excavators, loaders, rollers or similar machines when the job needs it
- Lend a hand to civil crews on practical site work
- Check your vehicle and equipment routinely and secure every load properly
- Work to workplace health and safety rules and transport requirements
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold a full Class 5 Driver Licence and a WTR Endorsement
- Have solid heavy vehicle driving experience, with proven truck and trailer or articulated driving
- Have worked with road ranger or automatic transmission trucks
- Have civil transport or aggregate cartage experience
- Have experience carrying heavy machinery
- Experience in tipping, spreading and jack-knife work is preferred
- Experience operating civil equipment is preferred
- Genuine work experience that can be verified
- Take safe driving and site practices seriously, and be willing to assist with hands-on site duties
- Free for Monday to Friday day shifts, with some flexibility for occasional Saturdays
