Thinking about kerja luar negara in hospitality? A busy Mexican-themed restaurant in central Christchurch, New Zealand, is hiring four experienced Waitstaff to give outstanding customer service and serve food and drinks using its selling system.

The role is full-time, a minimum of 30 hours a week, and covers nights, weekends and the busy summer months. Regular in-house training on food, beverage and service is included in the work.
The restaurant is an accredited employer and can assist through the immigration process if required, so it is in a position to sponsor staff under the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV).

Key Responsibilities
- Be the friendly first face guests see and help them choose from the menu
- Note down what each table would like and bring it out from the kitchen and bar
- Tidy away used dishes, set up tables again and help the dining room stay neat
- Send orders to the kitchen through the POS and take card, electronic or cash payments
- Partner with managers so that alcohol is served within New Zealand liquor laws and the licence conditions
- Suggest dishes, drinks and other things the restaurant offers
- Keep working through the in-house training modules as they come up
Requirements & Eligibility
- A background of at least six months in a role like this one, or a Level 2 or 3 Diploma qualification
- Good understanding of the liquor laws in New Zealand
- Happy to be rostered on nights and weekends and right through the busy summer months
- Ready to put in hard work when service gets fast-paced
- Keen to pick up the restaurant's offerings and the service standards it sets
