Key Responsibilities
- Be familiar with the daily and regular menus, function menus and specials
- Suggest new dishes and hand in menu items when you are invited
- Ready your section for daily service, functions and special requests
- Keep stock at the right quality and level, and let the Head or Sous Chef know about any shortfall
- See that every dish component is properly cooked, up to standard and served on time
- Work from the recipes, follow the Food Control Plan and keep prep and service areas tidy and clean
- Prepare raw ingredients and stock to match demand without waste, support junior staff and report maintenance faults
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience as Chef de Partie in a quality kitchen setting
