The restaurant is lively and stylish, with its own aquarium. It follows a set selling system for food and drinks and wants staff who stay cheerful, show some personality and pick up quickly on what guests want.
Plan for at least 30 hours a week, with evening, weekend and busy summer shifts. The restaurant is approved as an accredited employer, which lets it sponsor workers, and it can assist through the immigration process if required.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and introduce the menu
- Take orders and serve them at the table
- Use the POS for orders and accept card or cash payments
- Reset tables and help keep the restaurant clean
- Apply NZ liquor laws and work with management and guests on licensing
- Finish regular in-house drinks, food and service training, and promote dishes and services following restaurant policy
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least six months of experience in a similar role, or a Level 2 or 3 Diploma qualification
- Good knowledge of NZ liquor laws
- Availability for nights and weekends
- Availability over the busy summer months
- Motivation to work hard and learn the restaurant's offerings and service standards
