Christchurch has a nightshift opening at a busy warehouse and logistics operation. The employer wants an experienced Storeperson for a permanent, full-time position of a minimum of 40 hours per week, working with inventory and keeping the warehouse running smoothly.
You will keep stock moving, look after customers when needed and put safety first on every shift. Employer sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle forklift work safely: loading, unloading and shifting goods around the site
- Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy
- Empty shipping containers (devanning)
- Shift stock by hand around the warehouse
- Book in incoming inventory, check it over and put it away
- Have orders ready for dispatch inside the required timeframes
- Fill in warehouse paperwork and inventory records
- Serve customers professionally whenever the role calls for it, and take on MPI Accredited Person duties where applicable
- Keep the warehouse tidy, orderly and safe, and stick to health and safety procedures on every shift
- Pull your weight in the nightshift warehouse team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum one year operating forklifts
- Hands-on with forklifts up to 5-tonne capacity as well as reach trucks
- A forklift licence or relevant certification is preferred
- Forklift attachment experience is advantageous but not essential
- Physically fit for manual handling duties
- Sharp attention to detail and a firm commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable and motivated, and available for permanent nightshift hours
- Good communication and organisational skills, and able to work alone or in a team
- Warehouse or logistics experience is highly desirable
