Hospitality · Brisbane, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · $78,000 - $80,000/yr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
Malaysian chefs who are working or studying in Australia often ask what a good next kitchen job looks like. This one is a useful example: Senior Chef / Chef, full time, with a Brisbane bar and restaurant known for consistent food and attentive service. Check the salary first, which is $78,000 - $80,000 per year, then read the duties below against your own experience.
You would be the Head Chef's main support, so think about where you have handled prep, cooking, service and kitchen organisation without close supervision, and note those examples down.
Next, confirm your eligibility. Current Australian work rights at the time of application are required. The employer mentions too that sponsorship opportunities are available for the right candidate who meets all other requirements.
Your last step is the paperwork. Turn your hot-kitchen experience into a senior chef CV on Build AI CV and attach your cookery certificate when you apply.
