A Perth bakery is hiring a qualified baker for a permanent, full-time role, which is good news for bakers looking abroad. You will help produce fresh bread, rolls, buns and savoury products in a busy production space.

Key Responsibilities
- Mix, knead, divide and mould dough according to recipes and the daily production timetable
- Monitor proofing, oven temperatures and baking times
- Bake and present bread, rolls, buns and savoury products to a consistently high standard
- Help train and develop apprentices and bakery assistants
- Keep the bakery clean and safe, following food safety and workplace safety procedures, and help with stock control, ingredient ordering and waste reduction
- Work with the bakery manager and team to meet daily production, and give customers friendly service when required
Requirements & Eligibility
- A trade qualification in baking that is recognised
- At least two years of relevant experience in commercial baking
- Good practical skills in bread and yeast-based bakery production
- Commitment to quality, food safety and cleanliness
- Good communication, a cooperative approach and efficiency in a busy production environment
- Availability for early morning starts, weekends and public holidays as rostered
