Thinking of kerja luar negara in coffee? A specialty roaster in Far North Queensland is looking for several Baristas in Cairns and welcomes energetic, highly motivated coffee professionals.
The role runs the coffee side of the business: keeping each drink consistent and efficient, helping the team around you get better and shaping new products. Work is full-time, 5am to 2pm Monday to Friday, with weekends available.
A useful detail is that employee sponsorship is open for these positions under the Far North Queensland Designated Area Migration Agreement (FNQ DAMA).

Key Responsibilities
- Teach, upskill and lead the baristas
- Make sure each customer enjoys a genuine, efficient, top-tier coffee
- Take the lead in QC cupping sessions, together with the roasting team
- Help choose green beans for purchase and roast for production when needed
- Keep WH&S standards in place throughout the space
Requirements & Eligibility
- A background in specialty coffee with in-depth knowledge; Q-grader, cupping, barista competition, barista training and/or roasting experience is highly advantageous
- Proven leadership and team-building skills, plus a love of people and customer service
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- A growth mindset
- Willingness to start at 5am
