Key Responsibilities
- Cook Italian dishes, including handmade pasta and traditional recipes, to a consistent standard
- Keep daily kitchen operations moving, including inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen
- Supervise kitchen staff and encourage a positive working environment
- Work with the team to develop new recipes and menu items
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
- Adjust to changing schedules and peak hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
Requirements & Eligibility
- Certificate I - IV is preferred
- Cooking experience of 2 years is preferred, and Italian cuisine experience of 2 years is preferred too
- Work authorisation for Australia is preferred
