Thinking about kerja luar negara in a Japanese kitchen? An izakaya-style restaurant and bar in Perth, Western Australia, is hiring a full-time Chef and Cook with sushi and Japanese cooking experience.
The restaurant has settled into a new venue inside a large shopping centre, and the team is growing. You would cook Japanese and fusion dishes in a busy, high-volume kitchen and help with menu development and quality control. Hours are split into a lunch service from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm and a dinner service from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm, on a salary.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare sushi and other Japanese and fusion dishes over lunch and dinner service
- Step in as sushi chef or all-rounder, wherever the kitchen needs you
- Help develop the menu and keep quality in check
- Uphold high standards in a high-end, high-volume restaurant and keep communication clear within the team
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a Japanese restaurant
- Sushi chef, all-rounder chef or cook experience
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine
- Strong knowledge of fusion cuisine
- Able to assist with menu development and quality control
- Has worked in high-end and high-volume restaurant environments
- A strong sense of responsibility, with excellent teamwork and communication skills
