Your day mixes patient care with keeping the clinic running. Expect triage, chronic disease management plans, health assessments, immunisations (childhood immunisations too) and wound management, plus ECGs, spirometry, venesections and iron infusions. Behind the scenes you look after recalls, stock, ordering and the cold chain.
General practice experience is preferable. The good news: on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate. Temporary Residence / Permanent Residence sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Be a point of contact for patients and help with phones when required
- Triage patients as they come in
- Prepare chronic disease management plans and complete health assessments
- Operate the recall and reminder system
- Manage stock control, ordering and the cold chain
- Carry out ECG and spirometry testing
- Perform IV procedures, such as iron infusions and venesections, and provide wound management and immunisations, including childhood immunisations
- Assist with minor procedures, maintain practice equipment and support the GPs and other staff as required
Requirements & Eligibility
- You hold unconditional registration with AHPRA, and it is current
- A current immunisations certificate, or you are willing to complete training
- A CPR certificate
- A current Working with Children Check
- Good work ethic
- Good organisational skills and time management
- Able to work autonomously
- Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- General practice experience is preferable
