A golf club kitchen in north-east Victoria is hiring a qualified Chef, and the next step is simple: compare the requirements below with your own experience. Trade at the club is growing, so the Chef will support the head chef, sous chef and kitchenhands and report to the Head Chef.
The town is a holiday spot for snow skiing, water skiing, boating, fishing and hiking, with all the facilities for comfortable regional living. The team is dynamic and professional, there is room for career development, and work can begin immediately.
This position is for applicants already in Australia with valid work rights. Exceptional applicants may be offered sponsorship after completing a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes from the menu
- Monitor quality across preparation and presentation
- Train and supervise newly appointed and less experienced staff
- Assign tasks to team members and support the cooks you supervise
- Comply with the kitchen's hygiene regulations
- Check food stock levels and order what is required
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial cookery experience and qualifications at Cert 3 or higher
- Minimum 2 years' work in a commercial kitchen
- Flexible availability for a 7-day operation, with a mix of weekdays and weekends
- Good communication skills
- Can work unsupervised as well as within a team
- Understanding of OH&S and food hygiene requirements
- Valid work rights in Australia
