Thinking about kerja luar negara in a hotel kitchen? A country hotel in regional Victoria, near Sale, is looking for a full-time chef to join its culinary team.
The main job is cooking creative, high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen. You will also work with the Head Chef on new menu items and better versions of current dishes. The next step after service is just as important: a clean, hygienic kitchen, quick answers to guest requests and help with stock and ordering.

Key Responsibilities
- Plate up imaginative, top-quality food while the hotel kitchen runs at speed
- Join the Head Chef in testing new menu ideas and reworking current dishes
- Handle every prep and cooking job efficiently, to a high standard
- Hold the kitchen to clean, orderly and hygienic standards in line with all food safety and workplace health and safety regulations
- Answer guest requests quickly with excellent service, and help track stock and order kitchen supplies
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 2 years cooking as a Chef/Cook in a comparable hospitality business
- Formal cookery training or qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Excellent all-round knowledge of prep, cooking techniques and food safety practices
- Strong time management and the ability to juggle tasks during busy kitchen shifts
- Works well with others, adds to a positive team culture and has a passion for great meals and a better dining experience
