Key Responsibilities
- Cook a varied menu of creative dishes with neat presentation
- Keep food quality, presentation and service at the highest standards
- Work with the Head Chef on new menu items and improving existing recipes
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations strictly on every shift
- Run your own station so the kitchen flows smoothly
- Guide and mentor junior kitchen staff, and join regular team meetings and training sessions
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 2 years in a Chef position at a high-quality restaurant where the pace is fast
- Formal culinary training or, instead, a relevant hospitality qualification
- Excellent cooking skills, plus close attention to detail and presentation
- Thorough working knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices
- Strong skills in communication and in teamwork
- Keen passion for seasonal produce that is locally sourced
- Ability to adapt in a busy kitchen
- Able to do well under high pressure
