Your days will mix hands-on resident care with leadership. You will manage medications, plan care, guide the care workers and keep clinical documentation accurate, so mention similar work in your application.

Key Responsibilities
- Give high-quality nursing care suited to each resident
- Administer medications safely
- Monitor the health and wellbeing of residents
- Develop and review individualised care plans and put them into practice
- Supervise care staff and help them keep care standards high
- Keep clinical records and documentation accurate
- Communicate well with residents, families and other healthcare professionals
- Meet the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical policies, and take part in quality improvement and clinical reviews
- Respond quickly to changes in residents' conditions and medical emergencies, and keep up continuing professional development
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- At least six months' experience as an RN in an aged care setting
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Knowledge of AN-ACC funding and the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Intermediate computer skills
- Confident with clinical documentation systems
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance and current National Criminal History Check
- Valid Queensland driver's licence
