In this job you assess patients, plan and give their care and evaluate how they respond, working together with a multidisciplinary team. You also support patients and their families through treatment, so clear, kind communication is just as important as clinical judgement.
Shifts follow a rotating roster with evenings, nights and weekends. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients in the emergency department and plan their care
- Give care and evaluate how each patient responds
- Deliver safe, effective care that focuses on the patient
- Support patients and their families through treatment
- Work together with a multidisciplinary emergency team
- Work a rotating roster with evenings, nights and weekends
- Use sound clinical judgement in a fast-paced department
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, or eligibility for registration
- At least 2 years of post-graduate nursing experience
- A postgraduate qualification in emergency nursing, or an equivalent
- Ability to deliver high-quality nursing care that meets professional competency standards
- Strong critical thinking, communication and clinical decision-making, and the ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
