Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients, plan nursing care and implement it, all under RN supervision
- Administer medications, then monitor how the treatment is received
- Assist the team in coordinating patient care and evaluating it
- Take part in health education and promotion activities
- Provide direct patient care and assist with personal hygiene
- Support RNs in clinical procedures and patient assessments, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Comply with Work Health and Safety legislation, maintain infection control standards and promptly report incidents and hazards
Requirements & Eligibility
- AHPRA registration, which is current
- A relevant nursing qualification for an Enrolled Nurse
- Community nursing and home care experience
- Minimum one year's full-time relevant experience
- Three current items: National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Manual Handling Certificate
- A valid driver's licence and current COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
- An Infection Control certificate and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
