Key Responsibilities
- Give holistic personal care that is culturally safe, such as showering and dressing
- Help residents eat, move safely and communicate
- Join in planning care for people living with dementia
- Carry out their therapy plans
- Observe and report residents' progress, raising any change or concern promptly
- Keep records accurate and current, and support registered nurses within your scope of practice
Requirements & Eligibility
- Real commitment to improving elderly people's lives with kindness and empathy, and a passion for aged care
- Can work any shift across a 24/7 roster
- Caregiving experience preferred, while dementia care experience is a strong advantage
- Visa support needs a Registered Nursing degree, or a Level 4+ caregiving qualification together with an International Qualification Assessment (IQA)
