Trainer and Assessor

Visa sponsorship

Education · Perth, WA, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored

Perth's civil and mining training provider is after seasoned trainers and assessors holding a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, people who get a kick out of handing their skills to the next generation. Every trainee works one-on-one with an instructor on an operating mine site, so the aim is operators who are safe, confident and genuinely employable.

The company has 1 Civil Trainer & Assessor opening and a second for a Dozer / Excavator Trainer on production mining D11 & 3600, each Monday to Friday with 8-12 hour shifts; the civil role can include alternating Saturdays. The mining position splits its time across 2 mine sites, and the training ground sits about 60 minutes north of Perth CBD, so you are home each night. Applications are open from people seeking full-time, casual, part-time or job share work, and visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Trainers should show their TAE qualification and machine competencies up front. Set up a mining trainer and assessor CV with Build AI CV and list the plant units you have trained people on.
