The employer, a family-owned fleet maintenance specialist in Auckland, is recruiting two Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanics. They would work on truck and trailer fleets, buses and light commercial vehicles in a modern workshop that takes safety seriously.
A minimum 40-hour week applies, together with a rostered half-day on Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete planned servicing of heavy and commercial vehicles
- Fix braking and steering systems
- Strip down, rebuild and repair modern diesel engines, transmissions and drivetrains
- Get vehicles ready for COF and VCA
- Carry out diagnostics to locate faults, and cover general mechanical work
- Keep your work area clean and safe
Requirements & Eligibility
- Diesel Technician qualification at Level 4 or equivalent, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry
- A clean driver’s licence of at least Class 2 (willing to progress to Class 4/5)
- Works well alone and in a team, with a strong commitment to safety
- Brings a well-equipped toolbox
- Clear written and spoken communication; willing to work a rostered half-day Saturday
