Thinking about kerja luar negara in the flooring trade? A long-established Australian floor coverings business in Perth is hiring a Flooring Installer for permanent, full-time work on commercial projects.
The jobs are with Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders on sites across Perth and Western Australia. You report to the Site Supervisor, focus on the floor coverings you specialise in and plan each job before starting. The aim is to get it right the first time and leave a clean, professional finish while working closely with the builder's site team and other trades.
A good result means quality installations done safely, on programme and with minimal defects. Visa sponsorship is available for overseas installers who are suitably qualified.

Key Responsibilities
- Install resilient coverings (sheet vinyl, LVT and the like, with welding and coving) or carpet and carpet tiles, depending on your specialty
- Before laying, measure and record moisture and flatness, then grind, patch, prime and level the subfloor
- Use drawings and finishes schedules to set out and take accurate measurements
- Coordinate with the builder's site team and other trades to stay on programme, and handle materials carefully on site (check, store, protect) with minimal waste
- Fill in timesheets, daily reports, quality checklists and photo records, and respect every site safety rule, induction and safe work method statement
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial flooring work for at least 3 years, either in Australia or outside it
- Ability in at least one trade area: preparing subfloors, installing carpet or installing vinyl
- Preferred (not required): a floor covering trade qualification such as a Certificate III in Flooring Technology, or a similar qualification or experience earned overseas
- WA White Card, or you can apply for one and have it before your start
- Valid driver's licence for driving in Australia
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, and able to communicate well in English on site
