A Sydney public practice firm is hiring a Client Manager for accountants ready to move from compliance work into true advisory. The firm works without timesheets and on a monthly subscription model, so the focus is on the client rather than the clock. You would manage an established portfolio of business owners and talk through performance, planning, cash flow, forecasting and tax with them.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage an established portfolio of business clients and build long-term, trusted relationships with their owners
- Give practical, commercially minded advice, including help with business planning and strategic decisions
- Review financial information with clients and discuss how the business is performing
- Spot opportunities, risks and areas to improve
- Support cash flow management and financial forecasting
- Guide clients on tax and accounting matters and oversee compliance
- Act as a reliable adviser for ongoing needs and work with colleagues to deliver accurate, high-quality results
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in public practice accounting, with a CA or CPA qualification
- Demonstrated experience managing and advising business clients
- Strong capability in business advisory and client relationship management
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and credibility
- Confident working directly with business owners and key decision-makers
- Strong commercial awareness and a practical, problem-solving approach
- Sound knowledge of accounting and taxation compliance requirements
- A professional background and qualifications that can be verified for employer consideration
- Australian work experience will be highly regarded
