Weddings, gala dinners and corporate functions need front-of-house staff who stay polished under pressure. A Sydney events and hospitality organisation is adding casual Waiter staff to cover a mix of venues and event styles.
No two weeks look alike, with new rooms, new guests and new menus. Relevant overseas hospitality experience may be considered for sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Give attentive, polished service through every event
- Welcome guests warmly and help them professionally
- Lay up tables, dining areas, function rooms and service stations
- Take food and drink orders correctly and serve them promptly
- Notice what guests need and respond quickly
- Clear and reset tables as functions go on and when they finish
- Keep the front-of-house area clean, tidy and presentable
- Work alongside the kitchen, event and service teams so weddings, corporate functions, private events and large celebrations run smoothly
- Follow venue rules on food safety, hygiene, workplace safety and responsible alcohol service
- Present well and stay positive each shift, adapting to different venues, event formats and guest demands
Requirements & Eligibility
- Earlier work in hospitality, waiting, functions or customer service is preferred
- A real interest in giving guests a great experience
- Confident verbal communication and people skills
- Dependable, on time and well presented
- At ease in busy, quickly changing settings and in cooperating with kitchen and Front of House teams
- Flexible for evenings, weekends, public holidays and event-based shifts
- Current Australian RSA certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Appropriate Australian working rights where applicable
- Willing to work across multiple venues throughout New South Wales
