A growing renewable energy business in NSW is hiring a practical, motivated Solar Installer for commercial and industrial projects out of Sydney. Solar experience is welcome, and so is a background in construction or installation work, because transferable skills can be assessed against the role.
You will fit panels and mounting structures as part of a supervised team and travel interstate for projects when needed. Sponsorship available for the right candidate, so this is worth a look if you want a long-term path in renewables.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with commercial and industrial solar installations
- Place and fix panels and mounting structures under team supervision
- Handle hand tools and basic power tools properly
- Lift, carry and position materials, equipment and components safely
- Follow technical drawings, manuals and installation instructions
- Back up the team every day, from site preparation and set-up to clean-up
- Keep work areas organised and hazard-free, following workplace health and safety procedures
- Cooperate with installers, supervisors and other site personnel, and work alone when required
- Finish assigned tasks with care for quality and detail, and travel interstate for projects when necessary
Requirements & Eligibility
- Relevant hands-on experience in solar, construction, electrical support or installation work
- Previous solar installation experience is advantageous but not essential
- Practical skills and employment history you can genuinely demonstrate
- Comfortable understanding technical drawings, manuals and work instructions
- Strong problem-solving and practical thinking
- Reliable, motivated and committed, with a strong focus on workplace safety
- Works well independently and in a team, and is willing to travel interstate when required
- Australian Driver Licence, with your own vehicle and reliable transport
- Construction White Card or willingness to obtain, and Height Safety ticket or willingness to obtain
- Genuine interest in developing a long-term career in renewable energy
