A fabrication shop in Perth wants an experienced Sheet Metal / Aluminium Fabricator who can turn out quality products and keep working steadily without being chased in a busy production environment. Cutting, bending, rolling and aluminium welding make up much of the week, and fencing and gates experience is a strong plus.
Overseas applicants may be considered where sponsorship eligibility requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble aluminium and sheet metal products from technical drawings, plans and basic sketches
- Carry out aluminium TIG and laser welding
- Run cutting, bending and rolling machines
- Measure and prepare materials, then finish each piece accurately
- Inspect completed components for quality and accuracy
- Back efficient production and workshop operations
- Solve fabrication challenges with colleagues and put forward ideas to improve production methods
- Look after tools, equipment and work areas
- Follow safety and workplace procedures
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3–5 years of relevant industry experience, or more
- Past work as a Sheet Metal or Aluminium Fabricator
- Strong hands-on aluminium welding experience
- Competent in TIG or laser welding
- Can read and follow fabrication drawings
- Has used sheet metal fabrication equipment
- Fencing and gates experience is highly regarded
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong practical problem-solving
- Committed to quality and safe work practices
