A respected salon group in Brisbane, Queensland is looking for a Senior Stylist to join an established team. It is a role for someone with strong technical ability, confidence with clients and real passion for hairdressing, who is happy to share what they know with junior stylists.
International candidates with relevant qualifications and verifiable experience are encouraged to apply, so overseas stylists with a recognised hairdressing certificate are welcome to put their name forward.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver quality cutting, colouring and styling
- Talk through what each client wants and suggest the right services
- Design personal looks without dropping your technical standards
- Give clients a professional, memorable visit and build ties with new and returning ones
- Handle professional haircare products, tools and equipment with confidence
- Keep up with new hair trends, techniques and industry practice
- Hold a high standard of salon presentation and hygiene
- Recommend suitable professional products to clients
- Work as part of the stylist team and guide junior colleagues
- Take part in training, workshops and professional development
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised hairdressing qualification
- Experience as a Senior Stylist or in an equivalent senior-level position
- Strong practical cutting, colouring and styling skills
- A history of professional salon employment
- Evidence of relevant qualifications and industry experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional approach to client service
- Can work independently while contributing to a team
- Passion for hairdressing and commitment to high-quality results
- Willing to mentor and support developing stylists, and committed to ongoing learning and skills development
