The clinical side covers health assessments, vital signs, medications, treatments and individual care plans that you develop and carry out. The leadership side means directing graduate RNs, ENs, student nurses and care workers, holding regular performance reviews and helping staff build their skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Run health checks on residents, track vital signs and oversee medicines and treatments
- Put together a personalised care plan for each resident and follow it through
- Nurse residents using current evidence and the agreed plan, working hand in hand with residents and colleagues
- Give direction to graduate RNs, ENs, student nurses and Personal Care Workers on every shift
- Keep care at its best by leading the team, holding regular performance reviews and supporting growth
- Work with clinicians, residents, families, allied health teams, GPs and outside agencies
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor of Nursing plus unrestricted AHPRA registration that is current
- First Aid and CPR certificates kept current
- Ethical and professional practice in aged care and infection control that stays current with legal and AHPRA requirements and the Nurses Code of Conduct, together with aged care experience and willingness to complete ongoing mandatory training
