An Auckland automotive business is looking for a Parts Coordinator to keep its workshop supplied and its records in order. If you have worked in parts, purchasing, stock control or dealership service, this is a role where that background counts.

You would be the link between the workshop floor and the suppliers, making sure the right part arrives when a repair team needs it. Candidates meeting experience requirements may be eligible for visa sponsorship consideration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run the parts supply process so the workshop can work through each day without delays
  • Check what the workshop needs and place parts orders promptly
  • Keep purchase order records and paperwork accurate
  • Stay in touch with suppliers about availability, delivery dates and order changes
  • Check deliveries as they arrive and confirm the parts match the required specifications
  • Handle returns, cancellations and supplier credits, with the records that go with them
  • Keep inventory data and stock movement history up to date
  • Watch usage trends and help hold stock at sensible levels, run regular stock audits and chase up discrepancies
  • Keep records of workshop equipment and tools
  • Keep work flowing between the parts area and workshop teams, and help with admin for vehicle preparation
  • Follow safe workplace practices when storing and handling parts

Requirements & Eligibility

  • A track record in automotive parts, purchasing, stock control, or dealership operations
  • Service Advisor experience combined with strong workshop administration skills will be considered
  • Sound grasp of how automotive repairs work and what parts they call for
  • Careful, detail-minded work with excellent record management ability
  • Able to organise your tasks, hit deadlines and cope when priorities shift
  • Professional communication with suppliers and internal teams, plus confidence using computer systems for data entry, reporting, and reconciliation
  • Positive attitude, ready to learn and adapt to new systems
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Demonstrated automotive industry experience suitable for an overseas career opportunity
