Trade · Perth, WA, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
Perth has a long-term opening for a Metal Fabricator / Welder at an established fencing manufacturer. Day to day, you would get steel ready, put components together, produce gates, frames and similar items, and handle MIG welding. You would also have the chance to pick up other parts of the operation, so mention any wider workshop skills when you apply.
To be considered, you need to be already in Australia and hold valid working rights; holders of a Working Holiday visa (417/462) with the right skills and experience can also put their hand up. For anyone hoping for a longer stay, the employer could sponsor a Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482), depending on the occupation, a skills assessment and Australian immigration rules, so be prepared for a formal assessment of your skills.
