A commercial landscaping contractor in Darwin is looking for a skilled Commercial Landscaper to join a team on ongoing landscape construction projects in the Northern Territory. The work follows the whole build: excavation and site preparation, drainage and irrigation, paving, retaining structures, turfing and planting, so you need to be a tradesperson who can show practical ability and stand behind your own work.
Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants, and the employer is keen on people whose experience and qualifications can be verified and who want a stable, long-term position.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the site, dig and complete the groundworks
- Set out levels and form accurate bases
- Plant gardens, lay turf and spread mulch
- Build paved areas, edges and small concrete features
- Construct retaining walls and similar landscape structures
- Put in drainage and irrigation
- Run plant, machinery and landscaping equipment safely
- Take on general hard and soft landscaping across commercial worksites
- Keep standards consistent and pay attention to detail
- Leave tools, equipment and work areas clean and orderly
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures throughout
- Keep to project schedules and construction targets
- Talk things through with supervisors and teammates, working independently when needed
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years' proven experience in landscape construction
- Sound practical knowledge of commercial landscaping, with genuine hands-on experience to demonstrate
- Advantageous: a relevant formal landscaping qualification
- Reliable, punctual and committed
- Safety-focused, with pride in quality workmanship
- Current full driver's licence essential
- Own reliable transport essential
- MR driver's licence advantageous
- Current White Card essential
- Permanent Australian work rights preferred
- Temporary residents need not apply
- Working with Children Card (OCHRE) or willingness to obtain
- DCAC for Robertson Barracks advantageous
- Physically capable of outdoor landscape construction work
- Team player who can also work independently, and wants a stable, long-term position
