Key Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day delivery of HVAC installation on the project site
- Direct mechanical trades and subcontractors
- Track progress against the agreed construction programmes
- Check installation quality and put right anything that falls short
- Hold the line on safety and compliance
- Read HVAC drawings, specifications and technical requirements and turn them into site decisions
- Liaise with Project Managers and engineering teams, as well as builders, consultants and other stakeholders
- Work through construction, installation and technical problems as they arise
- Help handle variations and project changes
- Line up labour, materials and site resources so work is not held up
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 4 years of HVAC or mechanical construction experience gained in Australia, New Zealand or the UK
- A background on large commercial HVAC or mechanical services projects
- Tier 1 construction experience strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of HVAC systems and how they are installed
- Comfortable reading and applying technical drawings and specifications
- A relevant trade qualification, engineering qualification or extensive industry experience
- Able to lead teams and subcontractors, with excellent communication and stakeholder management
