A Sydney salon is looking for a Hair Stylist and Colour Technician for a full-time position, and the brief is simple: show what you can do. Balayage, creative colour and colour correction sit alongside cutting and styling, so clients will expect confident, current technique.

Key Responsibilities
- Cut, style and colour hair to a professional standard
- Deliver balayage and creative colour work
- Correct colour and carry out corrective colour treatments
- Consult with clients to understand their hair needs and tailor colour and styling to each person
- Keep technical quality consistent
- Look after clients with attentive, professional service
- Work as part of the wider salon team
- Join ongoing technical training and keep up with new trends and techniques in the industry
- Contribute to creative projects, events and salon activities
- Keep your work area clean, organised and professional
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of professional hairdressing experience
- Time spent in a premium or high-end salon environment
- Proven technical ability in balayage and creative colour
- Experience with colour correction work
- Strong cutting and styling skills
- Confident when consulting with clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional approach to client service
- A creative mindset and attention to detail
- Able to work effectively within a professional team, and willing to keep developing technical expertise
- Able to provide evidence of professional experience and skills
