Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hairdressing and styling services that match what each client asks for
- Hold consultations, then recommend styles and treatments that suit the client
- Produce dependable results in cutting, colouring, styling and the other services the salon offers
- Apply solid technical know-how so every finish is of good quality
- Keep clients returning through reliable, personal service and grow your own client following
- Keep a professional standard from the first greeting to the end of each appointment
- Work towards the salon's targets without letting service quality slip
- Keep up with current techniques, products and trends, and take part in training and development
- Suggest suitable professional haircare products when they fit the client
- Keep the work area clean, tidy and welcoming
- Work on your own initiative while pulling your weight in the salon team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience as a Hairdresser or Stylist, backed by a relevant hairdressing qualification and/or substantial professional experience
- Strong practical knowledge of modern hairdressing techniques
- Genuine, verifiable industry experience, with evidence to support your previous professional experience
- A confident approach to client consultation and styling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A demonstrated commitment to quality and client satisfaction
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Reliable, well-organised and professionally presented, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving industry trends
