Key Responsibilities
- Cut, style and colour hair for a range of clients
- Talk with each client about the style, colour and result they want, then recommend what suits their hair
- Apply current colouring techniques with a careful eye for detail
- Check hair condition before every service and advise accordingly
- Keep results consistent across the whole service menu
- Build lasting relationships with clients and keep them satisfied
- Keep a polished personal appearance and professional salon manner
- Work well with the other experienced stylists and join salon training
- Follow trends and techniques, and keep the salon tidy, clean and welcoming
Requirements & Eligibility
- A qualified hairdresser with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience
- Hands-on salon experience you can back up with employment evidence, plus a steady employment history
- Strong practical skills in cutting, styling and modern colouring, and confidence running client consultations
- A relevant hairdressing qualification or recognised industry training
- Good communication and customer service skills, and a reliable, approachable manner
- Commitment to quality work and to ongoing training and professional development
- Able to commit to at least 5 months or longer
- Flexible availability, with potential to move from part-time to full-time
