Key Responsibilities
- Produce quality formwork carpentry across a mix of building projects
- Erect, put together and install formwork structures to meet each project's needs
- Draw on solid carpentry technique, measuring skill and knowledge of the building process
- Study drawings, specifications and site instructions so tasks come out accurate
- Handle general carpentry work to a professional standard
- Use power tools, machinery and gear safely and efficiently
- Coordinate with site supervisors and construction crews to deliver project results
- Spot practical problems on site and sort them out
- Observe site procedures and safety standards, adjusting to varied sites and project demands
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience as a Formwork Carpenter or skilled Construction Carpenter
- Able to produce evidence of trade experience, qualifications and previous project work
- A good grasp of installing formwork and of general carpentry practice
- A proven record of accurate, high-quality workmanship
- Reliable, safety-conscious and committed to professional standards
- Works effectively on their own and in a team
- Willing to travel between construction sites when required
- Own tools and reliable transport
- Current driver's licence preferred, and open to regional work opportunities where applicable
