Key Responsibilities
- Carry out formwork carpentry to project specifications
- Concrete, place and finish as required, and fix and secure reinforcement and steel components
- Support Form, Reo, Pour and related civil construction activities
- Use hand tools, power tools and construction equipment safely
- Review drawings, follow supervisors' and site management's instructions and get areas, materials and equipment ready before you start
- Hold quality standards on every task and finish work within project timeframes
- Apply site safety procedures, spot hazards and report them promptly
- Work with other trades and crews, and help with other civil construction duties as projects require
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of relevant civil construction experience
- Proven hands-on experience in the nominated construction trade, with previous employment and responsibilities you can demonstrate
- Current White Card
- Relevant trade qualifications or tickets where applicable
- Dogman, Working at Heights, Telehandler, CN, C6 or HR tickets are advantageous
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices
- Clear communication and the ability to follow site instructions
- Productive both independently and as part of a team, with a reliable approach to attendance, responsibilities and project deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship, and the ability to work in metropolitan, regional and interstate project environments
