Wellington has a full-time opening for a qualified electrician who takes safe, compliant work seriously and enjoys a varied week. A well-established electrical services team is looking for someone who can handle maintenance, repairs, fault finding and installations, including some commercial jobs.
Sponsorship is available for suitably qualified candidates who meet the employer's requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance, servicing and repairs, and investigate and diagnose faults
- Complete electrical installations in different environments, including commercial work when required
- Test electrical systems and spot what needs maintenance or repair
- Read plans, specifications and technical information, and use tools, test equipment and machinery correctly
- Keep the work safe, compliant and to a high standard of workmanship, in a clean and organised work area
- Work independently on tasks, cooperate with colleagues and deal with customers professionally, providing reliable service
Requirements & Eligibility
- A qualified electrician with relevant trade certification
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in electrical maintenance
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical repairs and fault finding
- A proven, verifiable employment history
- Commercial electrical experience is advantageous
- Understanding of electrical safety, compliance and workplace procedures
- Able to diagnose problems and work through technical issues independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- A reliable, professional and hardworking approach, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Willing to provide documents supporting your qualifications and work experience
- Overseas candidates must satisfy applicable New Zealand employment and immigration requirements
