Electrical skills meet security technology in this Sydney job. A New South Wales business wants an experienced Electrical and Security Technician who can take full ownership of work in homes and commercial premises, covering CCTV, alarms, intercoms and access control as well as traditional electrical jobs. You would work locally on a regular 40-hour week. Sponsorship is available for eligible overseas candidates, and overseas-qualified electricians who meet Australian licensing eligibility are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Do electrical installation, maintenance and repair in residential and commercial properties
- Install and maintain CCTV and security surveillance systems, alarm systems, intercoms and access control
- Visit customer sites, size up each job and deliver work accurately, efficiently and professionally
- Keep clients informed about job progress and requirements, building good relationships through professional communication and presentation
- Own your assigned jobs with little supervision
- Meet electrical safety requirements and workplace procedures
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas tidy and safe
- Represent the business well in customers' homes and commercial premises
Requirements & Eligibility
- Australian electrical licence, or an overseas electrical qualification that can lead to Australian licensing
- Minimum 3 years of practical electrical experience, across both residential and commercial work
- Comfortable with electrical systems and installations; CCTV, alarm, intercom or access control experience is advantageous
- Own electrical hand tools
- Australian driver's licence
- White Card; Working at Heights and EWP tickets are advantageous
- Good customer service and communication, with professional appearance and conduct around clients
- Dependable and self-driven, able to work alone
- Verifiable qualifications and employment experience
