The work covers commercial installations, infrastructure and development projects, streetlighting and essential electrical services, and you will be trusted to manage your own tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Take on infrastructure and development work
- Put in, service and look after streetlights
- Study electrical drawings, plans and technical specs before starting
- Track down, diagnose and repair faults
- Finish each installation as the project requires
- Manage your own workload with little supervision and keep workmanship high across every project
- Work within electrical regulations, workplace procedures and safety requirements
- Keep supervisors, colleagues and project stakeholders in the loop
- Handle and maintain your electrical tools and equipment safely
- Fit in with changing project demands and work settings, and help the team stay reliable and professional
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current EWRB Electrical Registration
- A current New Zealand Practising Licence, or eligibility to obtain one
- 3–5+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Strong hands-on knowledge of installing and maintaining electrical systems
- An employment history in the electrician trade that can be verified
- Practical electrical skills you can genuinely demonstrate
- Confidence to work independently and make sound technical decisions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good written and verbal communication
- A proactive, reliable and professional approach, with a strong commitment to health and safety
- Ability to work well within a small team
- Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand or suitability for employer-supported sponsorship
