Project-based electrical work in support of construction and infrastructure is based mainly in Brisbane, and how much you travel depends on the project. The employer is looking for trade-qualified Electricians who can work safely beside other trades and keep projects moving.
The job runs from HV and LV cabling to fault finding on mining, civil and heavy industry sites. Sponsorship is available for suitable eligible candidates, so have your licence, tickets and site history ready.

Key Responsibilities
- Take on electrical installation and upkeep across remote construction projects
- Lay and look after HV and LV cabling, and complete switchboard and MCC terminations
- Fit motors, lighting, power systems, steel conduits and earthing
- Track down and correct electrical faults
- Back up electrical work for mining, civil and heavy industry operations
- Liaise with fitters, plumbers and civil crews when tasks overlap
- Stay flexible as priorities shift and remote site conditions change
- Work safely, keep quality up and help the project hit its deadlines by being a dependable team member who communicates well
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised trade qualification in electrical work, plus proven, verified work in construction, mining, civil or heavy industry
- An electrical licence, current and suited to the role
- Up-to-date First Aid and CPR
- UETDRRF004 (Perform rescue from a live LV panel)
- White Card (the nationally Recognised Construction Induction Card)
- Available for a 2:1 FIFO roster
- Safe working record in remote or project-based settings, handling a wide spread of electrical tasks
- Good communicator and team player who stays dependable and flexible on site
- Highly desirable: refrigeration tickets
- A Certificate IV in Instrumentation is advantageous
- Fibre endorsements are advantageous
- ACMA accreditation is advantageous
- A Certificate II in Split Air-conditioning and Heat Pump Systems is advantageous
- Readiness to complete the required pre-employment checks
