Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair electrical equipment
- Check electrical systems, equipment and facilities for faults and defects, and carry out inspections and testing when needed
- Work from electrical drawings, schematics and technical documents when tracing faults and doing the repair
- Write up job records and compliance paperwork accurately
- Apply each site's electrical procedures and safe work practices
- Liaise with supervisors, project teams and other trades
- Complete maintenance, shutdown and project tasks to the standard asked
- Support reliable, compliant electrical systems
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised New Zealand Electrical Certification
- Track record as a qualified electrician, including industrial, infrastructure or mining work
- Practical electrical maintenance and fault-finding skill
- Sound grasp of electrical safety, compliance and site procedures, plus the ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical information
- Willingness to work in Queensland or Western Australia
- Willingness to take on FIFO shutdown work in Western Australia where applicable
- Australian working rights or eligibility for an Australian work visa
- Candidates must be able to evidence their qualifications and relevant experience
