Key Responsibilities
- Complete the day's food preparation to the kitchen's requirements, after checking priorities with the team leader
- Look after your own section during service and present food consistently to standard
- Back up the wider kitchen team in busy periods, and keep colleagues informed as you go
- Keep your station organised, and clean equipment and work areas through the shift
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
- Help build a cooperative, professional kitchen
Requirements & Eligibility
- Past experience in a commercial kitchen, café or hospitality environment
- A good understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, and a positive, reliable approach to work
- Willing to accept constructive feedback and improve
- Able to work independently while supporting the wider team
- Committed to workplace cleanliness and food safety
- Available for early morning and daytime shifts
- Candidates must be able to provide accurate information and documentation to support verification of their identity and experience
