Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to a high standard in the day-to-day kitchen
- Keep kitchen workflow moving from prep through to service, organising prep jobs so service runs smoothly and on time
- Hold food quality, presentation and portion sizes steady
- Help improve menus with seasonal dishes and creative food concepts
- Use sound knowledge of food costing, pricing and kitchen profitability
- Control stock use, watch wastage and improve efficiency
- Keep to food safety, hygiene and compliance standards
- Guide junior team members, share what you know and help build a positive, professional kitchen culture
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience as a Chef or experienced Cook in a commercial kitchen
- Relevant culinary qualification or a strong proven industry background
- Verified employment history, with practical skills you can demonstrate
- Understanding of food costing, stock management and kitchen operations
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food quality
- Reliable work ethic, professional communication skills and a collaborative approach with kitchen and service teams
