Chef

Visa sponsorship

Hospitality · Melbourne, VIC, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored

Melbourne kitchens that serve sushi, sashimi and izakaya food need cooks who have done the work for real, and this Chef role is built around that kind of experience. You would prepare Japanese dishes from the cold section through to the grill, fryer and yakitori stations, keeping quality steady even when orders stack up.

Overseas candidates may be considered for 482 visa sponsorship where eligibility requirements are met, which makes it a practical option for Malaysians with a Japanese kitchen background looking at kerja luar negara.

Before you apply, list the Japanese dishes and stations you have worked on, such as sushi, sashimi and yakitori. Shape a Melbourne Japanese-cuisine chef CV with Build AI CV so your knife skills and seafood handling are easy to spot.
