A busy, quality-focused restaurant in Perth, Western Australia needs an experienced Chef de Partie. The kitchen leans Italian, with fresh pasta, seafood and seasonal produce at the centre of the menu, and you will run your own section as part of a professional brigade.

Key Responsibilities
- Own an allocated kitchen section from prep through service
- Turn out fresh pasta, seafood and seasonal produce dishes of high quality
- Cook consistently when the covers are high
- Keep taste, presentation and portion control excellent
- Finish mise en place so the section is ready for service
- Work with chefs and the kitchen team, and guide less experienced cooks
- Keep food safety, hygiene and cleanliness up to requirements
- Check preparation standards and cut food wastage
- Follow kitchen procedures and recipes to the set quality standards
- Work breakfast, lunch and dinner services as needed, including evenings, weekends and public holidays when rostered
Requirements & Eligibility
- Professional experience as a Chef de Partie or in an equivalent kitchen position
- Strong background in high-volume commercial kitchens
- Experience cooking Italian-inspired cuisine
- Hands-on skills in fresh pasta and seafood preparation
- Experience working with seasonal and fresh produce
- Confident running an individual kitchen section
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent trade experience
- Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills
- Stays efficient and composed in busy services, with a professional approach to food quality, hygiene and workplace standards
- Available to work nights and weekends
- Able to provide evidence of relevant qualifications and professional experience
