A Sydney construction business has ongoing full-time commercial carpentry work and needs a carpenter who can show genuine hands-on skill. Jobs span interior fit-outs, doors, flooring, decking and general commercial carpentry, so you will be moving between sites across New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete commercial carpentry across a run of ongoing construction projects
- Fit out interiors, from skirting boards to architraves
- Hang commercial doors and fit what goes with them
- Lay decking and flooring as each project specifies
- Pick up general carpentry and finishing jobs as they come up
- Measure, cut, assemble and fix timber and related materials with accuracy
- Work from plans, dimensions and job specs
- Handle your tools safely and well, and keep your workmanship neat and consistent
- Stay safe on site, follow workplace requirements and cooperate with other trades and site staff
- Move between project sites in New South Wales when the job calls for it
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of practical, on-the-tools carpentry experience
- A commercial carpentry background, or other relevant construction experience
- Employment or trade history that is genuine and can be verified
- Practical carpentry skills you can demonstrate
- Your own tools, suited to general carpentry
- Reliable personal transport and willingness to move between sites
- Current White Card
- Desirable: a sound grasp of Australian construction practices and industry standards
- Must hold Australian work rights or be able to meet sponsorship requirements
- Working Holiday Visa holders are welcome to apply, as are Pty Ltd companies and ABN holders with appropriate insurance
