Variety is the point of this Western Australia role. In Karratha you would move between renovations, kitchen and bathroom work, fit-outs and general maintenance, using both carpentry and cabinetmaking skills on residential and commercial jobs.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry on residential and commercial renovation projects
- Install kitchens and build or fit cabinetry, measuring, cutting and assembling cabinetry and timber components
- Handle bathroom renovations and refurbishments
- Complete residential and commercial fit-outs, plus general carpentry and building maintenance
- Take on roofing-related carpentry, and build and install fencing and other external structures
- Read plans, drawings and measurements, and choose suitable materials, tools and methods for each task
- Coordinate your work with other trades and the project team
- Manage your own tasks and meet agreed project requirements
- Spot site problems and apply practical fixes
- Keep workmanship accurate, with a tidy finish
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas organised and safe, following workplace health and safety procedures
- Stay professional on customer and commercial sites, adapt to changing project needs and help deliver jobs efficiently
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 4 years of carpentry experience after completing your apprenticeship
- Proven practical experience across several areas of carpentry, including strong cabinetmaking and kitchen installation
- Experience with domestic and commercial fit-outs
- Roofing and fencing experience will be highly regarded
- Able to show genuine hands-on trade experience
- Confident working independently without constant supervision, and able to work well with other trades and contractors
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Good problem-solving and attention to detail
- A reliable, motivated and professional approach to work
- Willing to upskill and extend your existing trade capabilities
- A full Australian driver’s licence
- Your own carpentry tools
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Valid Australian work rights, or eligibility for an appropriate sponsored visa
